The cat and its master’s love
was sublime;
The master remained a bachelor,
The cat, never glanced at another feline.
When the cat died,
The master squeezed his own life
with the whiplash.

So many stories about cat ladies (and cat gentlemen?) leaving their entire fortune to the feline they loved most... I wonder how many stories are there about cats who didn't accept the offer, and chose to jump into the grave with their humans instead.
haha...i'll remember that in the next cat related prompt....i'll make the cat not just refuse the offer but choosing to commit suicide instead, to escape the master's over pouring love :D
A definition of love that I haven't considered, LOL.
ReplyDeleteUnusual take on the prompt. Very creative!
ReplyDeletethanks @Belva
