In this 21st century, life has become incredibly fast, mobile and oh..so super exciting. Technology has gotten so advanced, that not just our lives revolve around it 24x7, it keeps springing new surprises at us as well, all the time, and makes the journey of life so incredibly sleek and supa-awesome. We have the world at our finger tips and while on-the-go as well. And with time, sleeker super-efficient machines have come into our lives that has made our life so much easier and smooth. I like to be connected at all times; be it with friends via various social media, keep myself updated with the news, stocks, gossips and other exciting stuff, play games or watch movies, listen music, buy travel/gig tickets, shop online, click pictures and do so much more; and being a blogger as well, I need to keep updating my blog with new things too; record my thoughts, ideas and stories that keeps popping up in my mind without letting them go, for the want of a device at hand at that exact moment. So, I’d want a machine that never lets me down. Well, Asus has come up with two new options to choose from and I was like – why not check out which one will suit me most. I need a new gadget anyways with my ever increasing online needs. So, I first checked out the Asus EeeBook X205TA : < 1kg it says, the weight – ah, that’s so cool. I can carry it around and not be terrified of bulky weight. Light and compact with a premium feel to it, at such an affordable price too ~ just as I’d want my device to be and that too coming in a plethora of colours – Dark Blue, Red, White, Gold – I’m spoilt for choice here. And 11.6 inch display screen promises to give good visibility no doubt, without having to strain my eyes while working on it. Boasting of 2-cell battery that can last upto 12 hours, it’ll be such a relief from my current lappy battery that starts dying after merely 4 hours of usage. Writing a post alone takes so much time, that a good battery is must, for work not getting interrupted. And when work gets stopped midway, it’s so hard to continue with the flow; who knows it better than me, who is facing this problem almost everyday currently. When you are buying a new laptop, usually you have to do all the installing yourself or call a software engineer to load your lappy with applications needed; and that carries with it extra expenses as well. So, when Asus offers a 1 year subscription to almost all the useful applications like full versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher and OneNote, along with 1 TB of online cloud storage ( i.e complete Microsoft Office 365 package ), I'm just awed and lapping it up already. It also has incredible features like Low noise ( a fan-less feature ), Free WebStorage of 500GB for 2 years ( wherein you can sync all files from other devices and instantly access them from anywhere, without fear of them getting lost ). With Sonic master sound, and easy Touch-pad, the device is powered by a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor with Intel Burst Technology up to 1.83 GHz! Added is 2 GB DDR3 system memory ensuring super performance. So, which of these features will influence my choice? Definitely good battery, its compact design and super efficient processor. I was just feasting my eyes on the Asus EeeBook a while ago, when my glance fell on the other offering by Asus i.e the Asus All-in-One PC ET2040 which completely blew my mind. Technology, I say; one can surpass the other in just blink of an eyelid. Well, see for yourself the incredible features it boasts off, that has left me wondering really which one should I pick ~ and one that had me writing a poem on it instantly. Incredible backup power, preventing any data loss, Stays on full one hour, even when main power stops. Its latest Intel processors ensures, device stay fast and responsive, Multi-tasking made super-fun, and so effortlessly expressive. Ah, the new gesture control impresses me so much, Standing five-meters away, I can make all features dance. Super connectivity it's got, with ports and uses unique, Asus, oh my dear, you've swept me off my feet! Given a choice I'd love to own both! |
