Since my school days, icy cool mints have been one of my favorites. I've always loved those white rings, that leaves a cool breeze in my throat as I pop them in my mouth. No toffees or chocolates could leave that fresh feel in our mouth, like those mint rings did. Those however were foreign brands, so I was glad when ITC Limited ( an Indian company ) recently introduced their own brand 'mint-o ultramintz'!
BA, announced their new product review programme, this time in collaboration with Mint-O Ultramintz - the product being 'mint' lozens that I've always loved. However, now they were no more rings, as they've been given a new makeover. They come in pellets instead, that too in size-zero ( size-zero being the new trend for everything these days ), but ready to punch. Oh! I love it so much more, specially the cool graphics that's being created specially for the brand. Check out some really amazing ones - Here! They do set you in the mood of total Chillax!
As you can see they arrived quite royally. I simply loved the personalized packing with my name, blue ribbons et al and hold on, I got two of those boxes! Cool! I opened what looked like jewellery boxes - No, am not kidding! And in middle of the black satin sat cozily my V.V.I.P guests i.e the mint-o ultramintz in a smaller metal box. Inside the bigger box that held the mints, was an invitation card from ITC Limited that said that I'm one of those lucky few's who gets to taste the royal mints before rest of the world does. Now, that's really a privilege! Am loving it.
The mints itself were no disappointment either. In the boxes they were there, sitting cozily, all 60 of them. The small metal boxes, I must say are cleverly designed, with a small hole in a corner that lets the pellets out. It can be opened fully too, but I liked the previous system more - i.e just shake the box once and a pellet drops out. Too cool. Don't shake it too hard though. It is royalty, so relish the experience slow n gently ;-)
DROOL THOSE ICY COOL MINT PEARLS BY MINT-O ULTRAMINTZ
What I liked about the product is both its appearance and the contents inside. Each one of the pellets is laced with peppermint oil, imported from France, and is made from the finest quality of menthol. It is further powered by speciality cooling compounds for that unimaginable freeze-like cooling. And they are all sugar-free! Extra effort has been made to ensure that they look royal. If those, that would be released in the market eventually are of the same packing, then I feel they'd make ideal gifts too, especially for corporate, anniversaries and other formal occasions. A big ThumsUp!
What I didn't like is perhaps the price. A box of 60 pellets is priced at Rs.50/- INR. But then, since we are speaking of royalty here, that can be easily excused.
I loved Ultramintz too! Will be posting the review within tomorrow :)
