AL -AYYALA DANCE - THE STRANGE HAIR FLIPPING THAT SPOOKED ALL EXCEPT TRUMP!

Ever since Trump returned from the Gulf he has been a changed man especially from India's POV. He has done everything to please the jihadists and their sponsors; and has gone quite rogue on everything India stands for inspite of the fact ( being well documented ) that India has been at the recieving end of terrorism from its neighbouring country of Pakistan since last so many decades ( and, not to mention inspite of Trump calling Modi his 'friend' so many times ). One wonders why Trump has suddenly gone so soft on the jihadis - that he even appointed some in his core team other than his own family firm signing up crucial crpto deals with Pakistan, knowing fully well Pakistan ends up using the money to fund terrorism. I watched this peculiar dance and have zeroed upon it for Trump's rather change of heart and his weird antics of late. Oh..I know...he is bit weird anyways...but still...

I think its got to do with him getting captivated ( or mesmerised? ) by this dance - performed by arabian women in his welcome in UAE. Arabian women are often imagined being hidden behind their naqab/burkha/abaya etc from head to toe; so, to witness this unique spectacle of long open-haired young women, flipping it while chanting ancient hymns to the beating of the drums - it really made everyone rub their eyes and sit up wondering ' what the efff... is that?' No wonder Trump too got bowled by it or maybe hooked on by some of the secret 'spells' these ladies invoked upon him while chanting. Who knows! Because, it certainly did look spooky and so unexpected from such strict islamic country - where such a display would be expected to be prohibited in the strictest sense. Last time I saw such hair flipping was when I watched the infamous 'Mehandipur Balaji Temple' videos or a 'Bageshwar Dham' video wherein ladies tossed their hair violently from side to side in similar fashion while being exorcised. I couldn't help but relate to it. So, such weird dance performed in a global stage got me spooked no doubt. But, lets not forget, before Islam, the mid-east was a hot bed of paganism. And this dance performance only reveals the fact that such practices are still practiced underneath the facade of Islam that bans all types of music and dance, much less such hair-flipping in public! So, was this hair flipping ritual behind Trump's sudden love for the jihadis? Heheh..I'd love to think so ;-)

Al-Ayyala is Unesco recognised as a heritage dance of that region. Its regarded as a traditional art and not just entertainment. It mixes music, poetry and movements to show pride and unity, performed by both men and women in special occasions. Well, its great an islamic country has retained its tradional roots. Come to think of it muslims circumambulating ( doing parikrama ) the 'Kabah' ( that houses the black stone ) or 'tawaf' during haj seven times anticlockwise; wearing stark white dhoti/lungi type garment with shaved heads look uncannily similar to what a hindu brahman would look like. Also, bowing down, kissing and offering respect to the stone inspite of tall claims that islam doesn't allow worshipping of idols/stones...lots of what is being practiced in real ( albeit, with little tinkering ) depicts otherwise. Although, muslims might deny these facts, truth remains that pre-Islam Mecca's Kabah once housed 360 idols and was a revered pilgrimage site for the pagans. Mohamad's father was the caretaker. He ( Mohamad ) was deeply inspired by Jews and Christians of that time who were monolithic and later introduced Islam to the world ( declaring himself the Prophet ) destroying those idols. Islam's Quran itself is quite a rip-off from the Old/New Testaments. The place continues to be pilgrimage site; but now, only for muslims, and the black stone is rumoured to be one of the important idols that Mohamad had demolished - although, he and muslims since claim that the stone fell from heavens. But history of the place suggests otherwise. And dances like the Al Ayyala echos that pagan past.
