THE LAST VIEW

She got out of her bed and looked out of her apartment, it was her dream to own one.

Small-town dream of big city life...she had come a long way.

What seemed like ultimate achievement she had accomplished, the thrill was there no more.

She could not erase the compromises she'd done to reach this place.

She had sold her soul infact to climb the ladder of success, and yet, when she was at the top, it wasn't as appealing anymore.

Today would be the last she'd have this familiar view; and then, she'll slip into the waters forever....

A sad piece. She fought si hard and all for nothing in the end. Winning the world but losing everything that makes it worth living.

  11. How sad! And yet we have all experienced the letdown that often follows the one big achievement we thought would make it all alright.
