She hated it. It was her birthday today,
Yet, she had none to spend it with.
An orphan, it was always this way,
She had none to call her own.
No one turned up, no one called.
She got up and went outside,
Saw some street children playing.
She called them, bought cakes
And celebrated!
Ahh how sweet.. I love the end and that with just a little cake,,, Hope they came back also when there was no cake.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Björn ...yup hope they come back later too, to give her company.
DeleteI say good for her for finding a way to party, and I'm with Björn. I hope they come back another time as well.
ReplyDeletethanks @Mary :-)
Deletegood for her...if you got no party, make one...invite those no one else wants, they will always appreciate it more any way....def great when you have neighbors you can reach out to....

thanks Jahid.
DeleteAwesome - making your birthday about giving to others, and in the end getting a new gift. Love it!
ReplyDeletethanks for reading @Mystic_Mom :-)
Delete...that's the way to celebrate --- yes, the best kind of all... if there is none who wants to share a blessing with you why not just be a blessing for the less fortunate ones... & for sure it will be more rewarding experience to cherish with... loved this... smiles...
ReplyDeletethanks for reading @kelvin
DeleteIf we all lived more like this, no-one would ever have to be alone again.
