  1. Are you mine?

I was newly married to you. Though you were a stranger for me, I started loving you. Every moment of my life revolved around you. I came to know that you had a past, but I didn’t mind that. You were mine, atleast I thought so. But it hurts, when you say nothing at all.

  2. Maybe, I’d try!

Yes, I married you. Yes, I had a past that I’ll always cherish more than the arrangement I’ve been forced with you. Yes, I know your feelings, but you keep the pain with you, silent. You don’t question, why I can’t forget my past. Maybe I’d try, but how? When you say nothing at all.

  3. Far Away...

I know you are no longer mine. You’ve married and moved on. We are so far apart now. You wanted to make your parents happy and compromised on our love. I still yearn for you. I thought of many times to contact you. I cried silently, I still do when you say nothing at all.

  4. Not meant to be.

I want a divorce. I tell you that I’m not interested in this marriage anymore. It’s a lie, maybe you know that too. I want to set you free. I want you to go back to your first love. Be really happy which we both are not meant to, when you say nothing at all.

  5. Setting free!

I’m surprised at the notice you’ve sent me. I thought you loved me and I was willing to try too. But if seperation is what’ll make you happy, I won’t come in the way. I was forgetting my past and getting fonder towards you. Maybe, its best this way, when you say nothing at all.

  6. The secret...

Thank you, for the divorce consent. You are free now. I didn’t want to keep you trapped. I wanted atleast one of us to be happier. There’s one secret I’ve never told. I’ve been suffering a while, from cancer. I am going to die soon. But, there’s no more need to say anything at all.

  2. The end of the story is quite unexpected. But then, such twists and turns make stories more beautiful.

Do you constantly write like this or are you experimenting with this?
For the first three, I thought they were disconnected but then the pieces started falling into place. Loved it.

  5. very intresting...I just love the way you begin..and then explore the side of each character in the scene..and finally, in the end connect all the dots together. I must say you are excellent at this kind of writing style nandini (dont know if there is any name for this style ). interesting story!

  10. Oh Nandini if that's the way it ends then i should say this was not fair. So what if one is dying. The question is...how will it make the other person happy after u've said that just because u were dying u thought divorce was the only way.

    1. hmmm...divorce was not just because of dying, but the overall marraige, where both sides didnt communicate or expressed at all...

  12. Captivating indeed. You have brilliantly put everyone's perspective in the stories. I can't say anything more.
