painting by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
I shall dance today,
cos' today is my day...
That woman with the magic wand,
Gave me time, until midnight...
Her mice turned into horses,
Her pumpkin a carriage, O'what a sight.
While my step mom and sisters
Watches me angrily...
Let me dance my fullest,
In this banquet, in glee.
The prince too, is mesmerized
By my sight, his eyes never leaves me...
I'll leave my glass slippers behind,
For him to find and marry me.
what a lovely piece.
