WE ARE ALL THE SAME!

She loved God, but, she hated religion(s). God was personal, but, religion was so public; and, so divisive.

She hated these gatherings under elaborate domes where more than God, how to expand their faith was urgently discussed.

How to convert others into their faith, how to imperialize the world through sheer numbers - bigger the better, their ultimate aim.

She despised, how almost all religion's aim was only to prove theirs better than the other.

When will humanity realise, that, we are all the same ~ we feel same emotions, get same illnesses, have same red blood and skeletal bones. Sigh!

Yes religion can indeed be so destructive people hide behind it with their hate

  2. If an individual gets comfort from a belief, that's cool, but organised religion tends to be a gigantic scam.

  4. Unfortunately, organised religion is a business and has little to do with faith. Well said, Nandini.

It is interesting that faith is personal and yet together people of faith make a united family of God.

  8. What a great take on the photo prompt. I struggle with the whole "religion" side of faith. This struck a chord. I hope one day people will catch that everyone deserves respect and kindness - not hate!

  9. I can't speak for other religions, but Christianity has a specific directive to convert as many as possible to worship the one true God. Of course all religions that proselytize say the same thing, but there really aren't all that many of them. I realize Christianity has often been used by empires as a colonizing tool. However, for people who truly have faith, it's all about sharing joy and a relationship with the creator of our souls.

    Dear Nandini,
If only we could recognize our similarities rather than focus on our differences. And how much could we learn from those differences, rather than fearing them?
    Shalom,

  11. Religions are tools of control, I totally agree with you. They have been created in the image of humans and human nature.
