MONSOON'S ENTRY

'If you love me, meet me at the café where we first met; if either of us don't show up, its over, no questions asked!'

'Okay,' he clearly remembered where it all started, at monsoon's first entry, when their eyes had first met.

'We will either celebrate our anniversary together, or, our separation forever.'

'Done,' he agreed, as on the D-day, he waited at the side of the road; while the rain splattered everywhere... there was no sign of her.

He left disheartened, no questions asked!

After many years he learnt she had met with an accident that day.

  1. That must be terrible. To live with that bitter sadness and then find out it was even worse than that. Good concept.

  7. Aw, what a sad story. I thought they were going to remember different cafes, but this is even more heartbreaking. Well done.

I was also thinking of the old movie. Did she survive, I wonder? At least he can put any resentment aside now.
