Blast from the past...digging some old dusty album
At thirteen, a child on the brink of being a teen,
in love at first glance I fell with the sea never before seen...
A young woman now, at twenty,
those sands on my feet getting me giddy...
At thirty and beyond, remains a love insatiated,
a mere glimpse of seas still gets me excited...
the skies above has been my forever witness...
( and no, am not revealing my age ;-)

ReplyDeleteI lived the first five months of my life in walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean but obviously I don't remember that. The first picture, with people wearing coats and a grim grey sky, makes me wonder how anyone could enjoy a sea or ocean in that weather.
