As dusk fell, Anna observed, there was a strange movement in the thick-bush. Someone was behind or was it some animal, she wondered.
The bush jerked again, there was certainly someone behind, else, bushes don’t move on their own that way.
It wasn’t the wind because the flora nearby were static. Only this particular bush moved vigorously.
Was someone getting intimate behind it – some couple or maybe some animal? It was the mating season after all.
Anna crept near. To her horror, through the leaves, she saw a woman with a jagged-wound, struggling, while her attacker had left to quench his thirst elsewhere.
