Lee Miller in Adolf Hitler's bathtub, Munich 1945, by David E. Scherman
Without a care in this world,
Pampered and luxurious life aboard,
She wastes water in her Jacuzzis and tub,
Sprawled lazily in her never ending baths.
Little does she realize, while for her
water is taken for granted;
But miles away, it’s a luxury
some cannot even afford!

ReplyDeleteI loved this take!
ReplyDeleteSo many take for granted things other people desperately need
ReplyDeleteToo true - luxuries aren't always gift wrapped.....
ReplyDeletePerverse and Obscene yet delicious ...
ReplyDeleteWhat is normal to some is a luxury to others. I have seen wastage all too often especially in Africa. Even here, in the dry season, we have to conserve. Some of us have pipe borne water whilst others have to buy. Sad.
ReplyDeletehmm. a very real problem for many. very real. very sad
ReplyDeletethanks a lot everyone :-)
