Self-portrait, Vivian Maier
He had dreams,
To become big,
Achieve astounding
Success neat…
Hypnotize the world,
With his acting prowess,
Rule; be the king,
A fan-following, massive…
For hours, in front of the mirror,
He'd pose and practice,
All the greatest-of-greats,
He'd unabashedly mimick...
He'd be so lost in his world,
Till the doors would creak,
A snort would then distract,
From his fantasy, make-believe...
Hey! you spot-boy,
Then, there'd be an order,
Stop the day-dreaming,
Get shot ready
for the lead-actor!
