:: Today is H - HEAVEN? HELL? ::
Expecting heavenly bliss in the matrimonial life that lay ahead with Bob, Nina looked at the decorations excitedly. Everything was being readied. Infact, the whole neighbourhood was in preparation to bless the couple.
Though it wasn’t allowed to see the groom, the eve of wedding day; Nina broke the rules and crept into Bob’s apartment. Everyone was out shopping, but Bob would be home – and she wanted to surprise him.
She heard noises coming from Bob’s room. Opening the door, Nina froze on her tracks.
On bed lay Bob, naked, with his best friend Daniel. Nina’s heaven turned into hell.
Helluva thing to find out on the eve of your wedding.
ReplyDeleteit was a helluva prompt @Rochelle :-))
DeleteDamn...that's a surprise that got turned on its head pretty freaking quickly. On the bright side, isn't it better to discover who your fiance really is *before* you get hitched? Hope she recovers soon...
ReplyDeleteyea..its good she discovered it *before*
DeleteDear Nandini, I'm having trouble leaving you a comment. Maybe I'm not on the list. Well, here's my two bits anyway - I like your story. How utterly terrible to find out your grooms' bi-sexuality than to walk in on Him and him. Nan
DeleteEep. That is quite a bad surprise. I guess the wedding is over now, eh?
ReplyDeletethanks for reading :-)
DeleteI didn't know whether to laugh at the irony or cry at her pain. Though I am glad Bob and Daniel can now be free to be together :-)
ReplyDeleteyea they can be....thanks :-)
DeleteOuch! Just saved!
ReplyDeleteyea :-))
DeleteWoa already she found before marriage. Brilliant story.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it was better she found out the situation before marriage rather than get caught up in a terrible situation. I bet there's more care taken to know the next guy before arrangements are made. Good story with description to make it sound real. Well done.
ReplyDeletethanks for reading @P.S
DeleteAh.. I guess a menage au trois was never an option...
ReplyDeleteno it wasnt :p
DeleteI, too, thought of weddings days that turn into hellish nightmares! I agree with Soumya - saved!
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteOuch... that must hurt. Well, better now than later!
ReplyDeleteyes indeed....better now than later :o
DeleteShe obviously did surprise him and not just him. Definitely better to find out in advance but what a jerk Bob is for not mentioning this little item!
ReplyDeletejanet
thanks @janet :-)
DeleteThis is an extreme case, but expecting marriage to be heaven is a setup for disaster.

DeleteEgad! Hope she doesn't throttle him with the streamers!
ReplyDeleteBob and Daniel! Who would have thought it. Poor Nina.
ReplyDeletethanks @Patrick ...yup, who would've thought it :o
DeleteBetter to find out beforehand but not nice for anyone involved. It still made me smile though I'm not sure whether it was meant to or not. I think it might be the name Bob
ReplyDeletelol..ya of course its the name :p
DeleteHell, indeed! We both went for weddings, but very different outcomes... terrible thing to learn, the night before your wedding.
ReplyDeleteyea..i read urs, have some issues commenting wordpress, thanks :-)
Deleteadd pastel shirts to the gift list... good twist
ReplyDeleteI guess the party will be a bit of a different flavor now! At least she found out BEFORE the vows
ReplyDeleteyes the party will have diff flavor for sure now :-)
DeleteHmmmm. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
ReplyDeleteyes.. you're right! thanks @Sorchia
DeleteOh boy! No bride wants to find out she's just a beard!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I enjoy reading your FF stories, but this site, unlike any of the other blogs, always throws up so many ads and animated graphics that my quad-core computer rebels. That's why I haven't chimed in recently. I don't know if there's anything you can do about that over here, but I wanted to let you know. I'm sure I'm not the only one, and it's a shame for you to lose readers.
All my best,
Marie Gail
thanks for reading @Marie Gail :-)
