I have to admit it's not my favorite either. but I have been approaching it with more of an open mind lately

When the syllables work out, I like haiku okay. Otherwise, it feels too restricting :)
yea...so true...at times can be stressful..infact for a long time i mixed up those syllables.
After a while, Haiku seems to grow on you. That's what happened to me, anyway.

It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle to me: sometimes fun, sometimes frustrating!
most of the times its the latter :-p
A little irony is great for haiku. The other is to drop the 575... it could be very fun...
most of the ones I wrote in the past were anything but the 575 formula :D
