When you have truth on your side, you have no reason to fear,
When you have truth on your side, their threats and bully don't matter,
When you have truth on your side, you can stand by it till the very end,
When you have truth on your side, their coercion will surely never work...
They fear the truth, thats why they threaten to shut your voice,
They know somewhere you're right all along...
That's why they try any means not to let the truth out,
They bully, they bribe, they try to hush things up...
Keep the ones they like and try erase that which irritates the eye,
They try every tactic in the world to suppress and do a cover-up...
But, when you have truth on your side, you know you cannot be cowered,
Stand your ground defiant, however much they tried...
Beautifully composed!! I feel less than optimistic these days about 'truth winning out' .... trying hard to stay positive, it's very difficult.
ReplyDeleteEventually truth wins out. Sometimes we have to live though a lot of falsehoods first though.
