MY PESKY CONSCIENCE

I looked down, my legs weak and wobbly after all that climbing. Damn.. I can't do it..not again, I wanted to yell.
"If you want to get rid of those tyres around your waist, you have to keep doing it, Not once but over and over." I tried to ignore that pesky conscience. I won't let it win, I was adamant.
"Remember Matt? He was eyeing Tisha's slender figure. Bet he'll ask her out this prom too," it continued.
"Nooooo!" That can't happen. I ran down the hill only to climb it again. I'll bloody lose this weight before prom!

  1. Just a little incentive (and a good enough friend to offer it up), that's all any of us needs!
