MY AIRTEL APP

¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸ Our lives have become so insanely fast, that I’m left amazed most of the times. Even though, myself, being from the old-school-of-thought and not easily convinced about trying new things, I must say I’ve surprised myself quite a bit of late by doing exactly the opposite of what I’d normally never expect myself to do. And that is trying new technologies. I was a desktop babe, I loved things large. I swore I’d never go for laptop, because my desktop was grand ~ it was royalty. But you know what, I chewed a humble pie and soon saw myself buying and using the laptop more than I ever used my desktop. Same happened with Smartphones, that I detested at first. I’d never leave my lappy, I swore; but these days I’m mostly roaming around with my smartphone, while my laptop sulks in one corner of my house, neglected. I used to swear by Mobile Sites and didn’t like Apps at all. How can one use a tiny app for god’s sake, used to be my first thought. But now, I’m found downloading apps like crazy, like I recently did with the AirtelApp. I’m amazed at the things that can be loaded inside a single App; the usage options and features a customer gets, making his life a smooth ride literally. With smartphones penetrating everywhere, more than the normal bulky computers ever did, Apps are the new ‘cool‘. I’m an airtel user, so have been running to the nearby mobile-shop for the regular monthly recharges. Besides that, however, I didn’t really find anything extraordinary about my account except the data & talk pack, that I subscribed to and used. How wrong was I, I found out with the new Mobile App. ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸ The features I found most interesting of the App ( mind you, it has lots of those ) would be as follows : 1. Bill Payments – I’m frequently traveling and travelling far. That makes it impossible to make my bill payments on time and I used to have to a pay penalty earlier for the delay ( with many times my SIM card turning invalid too ). But not anymore! My Airtel App lets me pay my bills on the go, no matter where I am and that too in a secured environment; it has PCIDSS certification, with real time bill tracking too. My card details can be stored as well for faster checkout. 2. Organised, user friendly interface & personalized experience - All tasks that I do, be it Bill payments, Recharge, Buy packs, Record a program, Order games, View balance, Data consumed or Check recharge history – everything can be saved neatly in the 'I WANT TO' tab, thus, be organized. The App is easy to operate and one can thoroughly personalize it. 3. Airtel Surprises – Who doesn’t like surprises? With every recharge, one gets ‘airtel-surprise’ coupons that can be redeemed for shopping, food, wellness, entertainment etc via different e-commerce platforms like CCD, PVR, Flipkart, Amazon, Ebay etc. And what more, you can simply shake your mobile to get some more surprises ( eg. cashback, free data or full talktime ;-) The most simplest way to manage all my airtel services through my handset is my very own MY AIRTEL APP!
