THIS ONE FOR INDIBLOGGER

Just thought of dedicating a poem to Indiblogger :-D

It was one late November afternoon,
I saw a site by chance and had lazily walked in.
Not expecting much, I was but surpised,
To see such an intriguing world, it held within.

A blogger here and a blogger there,
I had walked into the bloggers paradise.
With everyone showing off their precious ware,
A busy market place I felt, it was.

Some complained for not getting comments enough,
Some complained for the comments they got.
Some made cartoons to show their frustration,
Some wrote poems to convey the situation.

Interesting it was to watch...
What was it in a blogger's mind that ran,
At times too serious, at times fun.

As I strolled more, casually glanced at the get published contest,
Decided to enter as I thought I was simply the best.
Once done, I went through a few other entries,
Amazed by the talents abound,
Quite impressed I was, with the rest.

Then I got a mail here and a request there,
Please read my entry,please vote for me
Obliged some, some I couldnt agree.
Have faith in your talent I wanted to say,
As Every dog finally has its day.

Indiblogger sprang a few more surprise,
More contests, each with irresitible prize.
Tempted, I entered my name everywhere,
This much excitement I had found nowhere.

My blogging world changed overnight,
New friends,new blogs each day a pleasant sight.
A Poem written just for fun,
No offence to anyone! :-))
