PATCH THAT SURVIVED

'Different patches of land experienced different calamities; some wiped off civilizations while for others their existence changed forever,' the museum guide ushered in a group of curious visitors.

'But one patch,' he stopped outside a steel door,' experienced something quite extraordinary.'

As everyone entered the special room, he continued, 'the conditions were such that the entire atmosphere crystalized trapping the inhabitants within.'

'As time passed this crystal shrunk, but what's astonishing is that not one being lost their lives.'

'That patch survived centuries; look closer,' he urged everyone.

To everyone's surprise, they could see humans moving about inside the crystal.

Quite the fantasy. Makes me wonder what their lives are like within the crystals. Good one.

  11. Nandini, I love where the image took you. The plot would be great for a
    Twilight Zone episode.
