As her husband lay asleep, Tara rushed outside to the porch, oh she was so looking forward to this trip.
Her honeymoon, yes, it was special; but, it was special for another reason altogether.
She stood awestruck... it was all white as she had anticipated.
Oh it was cold, too cold, but her excitement made her forget that.
Her first snowfall was just before her eyes, her childhood dream to see snow fulfilled atlast - and it was all here.
As the child in her took center stage that few moments, she played with the snow flakes till her heart's content.


Oh brings me right back to my childhood. So loved playing in the snow, making a snowman and icescating on the lake

ReplyDeleteHaving grown up with snow, and now living in Alaska, I still get a thrill out of the first snow fall especially when the flacks are huge and fluffy!

ReplyDeleteI remember waking my children to go play in the snow, since it happens so seldom down here in the swamps. They loved every moment.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in the northeast US, I took snow for granted. But once I got my corgis, I saw how much they loved it and became re-enchanted.
