'The party still goes on after everyone's gone,' he said.
''You can't be serious, the place is all locked up, not a fly can enter.'
'I saw with my own eyes, you've got to believe me,' he persisted.
'Okay, I'll come back later and check.'
Later that night... when everyone was gone, they slowly crept up and peeped through the windows.
Loud music blared, glasses clanked, conversations and whispers wafted from across all corners; yet, there was no one in sight.
'Unbelievable!'
'I told you, they come after everyone is gone,'
The party still goes on after everyone's gone!'
Does the level in the bottles go down, I wonder
ReplyDeleteChilling story, Nandini. Reminds me of "The Shining." The sounds but nobody there...
ReplyDeleteWhere do they go when people start to come into the bar!
ReplyDeleteWe used to have those kind of bars for Food and Beverage staff afterhours in locked clandestine meeting places back in the Florida of my youth. Nice write.
ReplyDeleteOh, creepy! I think I'd back away slowly. -Angela
