‘The tyre couldn’t have chosen a better time to get punctured.’ He thought frustrated, wanting to kick it hard.
Perspiration trickled down his forehead, as he looked around the deserted location. Miles away from the city, he was in middle of nowhere. This was his least preferred route. Strange rumours abounded! Of the famous witch; that took lift from strangers, strangling them at the end of the road.
He swallowed hard; would he be the witch’s next victim? It was getting dark and creepier; hours longer.
A distant truck’s horn, made him dash out waving his hands frantically for help!
