I have to admit it's not my favorite either. but I have been approaching it with more of an open mind lately
thanks for sharing your experience with haiku :-)
When the syllables work out, I like haiku okay. Otherwise, it feels too restricting :)
yea...so true...at times can be stressful..infact for a long time i mixed up those syllables.
After a while, Haiku seems to grow on you. That's what happened to me, anyway.
oh...yes it does. i find myself writing them every now and then ...thanks Susan :-)
It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle to me: sometimes fun, sometimes frustrating!
most of the times its the latter :-p
A little irony is great for haiku. The other is to drop the 575... it could be very fun...
most of the ones I wrote in the past were anything but the 575 formula :D
Made Me smile. I too am not a fan of haiku and almost took a pass this week.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on haiku @Debra :-)
Hehe - does that mean you're a masochist?!
hahaha...in case of haiku, perhaps yes a bit :D
