SIXTH SENSE

There was a jab in my heart; a pierce, as though a warning,
Bloodless, that only felt; but didn’t show,
The source of it, I was clueless…
My breath was labored, as I took a hesitant step,
Towards the bus, so crowded,
Something was holding me back,
it was, but, obvious.
Nervous, I looked around; confused,
Should I march ahead, or stay back?
By the time I took a decision, I realized,
The bus had already moved ahead.
But the crash and chaos that followed,
Bodies, moved quickly to makeshift camps nearby,
The jab, I realized, finally,
Was my intuitive sixth sense!
