TRAPPED

He struggled, as his feet stepped on the enemy trap.
A clever web was laid, and he had fallen prey.
As he struggled, he seemed to get more and more entangled.
In enemy territory, it became a matter of life and death.
He struggled to breath, to be alive.
But his eyes saw the enemy standing near, glaring at him.
He won’t be spared.
Like others before him, he won’t make it alive.
Same fate awaited.
His eyes got misty; and a drop of tear slowly trickled down his cheeks.
There was no escape, realization dawned and he finally gave up.
