THE SEANCE

“Candles, prayer-oil…all set. Turn off the lights, Ginny,” Borno was looking intently at the contents spread out on the floor.

“Are you sure we’re doing the right thing Borno?” Ginny asked, hesitantly reaching for the light-switch. “Learning all that from internet is not very reliable is it?”

“Come on, don’t be negative. I’ve done research. We shall speak to your mother’s spirit tonight. You always miss her don’t you?”
“Yes…but…”

Borno ignored her and sat down for the Séance calling spirits. Moist-eyed Ginny sat by him. Nothing happened. Tired, both went to sleep.

At night, the Séance candles shook violently!

  1. Dear Nandini,

I'd be so out of there. Best not to find how-to's on the internet.

    Shalom,

  6. Nandini, this was spooky.
In college we , four friends had called a spirit and most of the questions answered turned out to be true. But I shudder the thought of it.

  7. Definitely don't sleep during a seance. Clever stuff. (We get our seance info from Google with wifi switched off!)

  8. Nandini, I agree with Rochelle. I wouldn't want any part of info from the internet on how to connect with the dead. Well written. : ) ---Susan
