THE COFFIN

My Bed by Tracey Emin

The bed all messed-up,
Her stuff lay scattered.
They hunted; searched,
She was nowhere...
Until the unbearable stench,
Crept from somewhere.
Hammered open they; the box-bed,
Coffin that became;
Wherein her chopped-body laid.

  1. I had trouble leaving this comment on your blog. If my cursor goes off this box I can't type. Really weird I have never had it happen before and no it's not my computer.

    I loved your take and think of sleep as a tiny death each night anyway so the bed as a coffin was a fun read. Enjoyable!
