HEY POET, DONT SLEEP!

Poet's Sleep, 1989, by Chang Houg Ahn

Hey Poet, Don’t sleep!
You’ve tones of stories to weave;
Magical and rhythmic.
Cos’ if you sleep,
They’ll throw stones;
Make you weep.
Those sculls are real!
They’re characters of poems,
You’ve weaved!

  2. For every poet his characters are real... And they might die and turn into skulls of dead if not nurtured. Beautiful write.
