DABUR - TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE NATURAL GROWTH

DABUR - TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE NATURAL GROWTH

Three babies were born in three different eras.

ERA 1 : A couple of centuries ago, a new born baby wailed at RishiMuni PadamShriHari Das's ashram in Badrinath. It was birth of his 5th son. The ashram was bursting with joy and cheer. The Rishi and his wife were overjoyed at this new arrival. Everyone celebrated the occasion. Rishis and esteemed Sages from other places and disciples from all corners of the region came to wish the couple and blessed the new born. The Rishi's wife Suman Devi, held the baby close to her bosom and fed him breast milk.

"Tomorrow I shall have to go to the Himalay Parvats ( mountains ) to collect the jari buti/herbs again," the Rishi declared in the evening.
"Swami, you worry too much, we do have enough stock of ayurvedas already. That'll be enough for our little Padam," his wife replied. Little Padam was the new born, named after his father.
"Yes, but still we need to be newly stocked. Fresh herbs are always good and over the next few years, our little Padam will require them more. It has helped our other children too. Everything will be home-made. Don't worry I'll be back in a day or two with the new herbs."

Rishi used these precious herbs ( collected from the mountains ) to prepare various ayurvedic preparations, that the entire community used, to keep themselves healthy and immune.
These ayurvedic ingredients had natural properties, hence, no side effects and were passed on through generations. A baby was always fed breast milk, and given oil massage that were essential for growth of their bones/muscles and also for protection of their skin - ( the oil was prepared from herbs like Till Tail for growth and post-massage sleep, Ratanjyot for protection against skin infection, Shankha Pushpi to cure general weakness, Camphor to improve blood circulation and Urad for nourishement of muscles & bones ). Since no synthetics were used in these naturally prepared ayurvedic oils, they were non-toxic and helped the baby grow strong and fast.

In early times, men didn't have many luxuries and were very hard working. Their physical activities made them self reliant and strong, hence they survived harsh conditions easily. They breathed fresh oxygen everyday ( because of lack of air pollution those days ) that kept their lungs strong, and also did regular Yoga Abhvyas ( practice ) that kept their body toned and fit. They ate fresh fruits, vegetables and grains which were not artificially enhanced or fertilized upon, thus, were very healthy for the body. They also took Ayurveda treatments regularly for their ailments, if any - ( no harmful Allopathy drugs those days ). Ayurveda was based purely on 'traditional knowledge', which gave them cure and care. They could face any adversities, because as a child they were given the required regular "tail maalish" without fail, to make their body strong and resilient as they grew.

Over the days that followed, Little Padam too grew healthy and strong, brought up in the traditional ashram atmosphere. He joined his elder brothers in archery and yoga too. Though they were sons of a RishiMuni, they were trained for self-defense aptly as well, as was the norm those days. They grew up in open air that made them resistant and able to fight germs and bacteria. They too would join their father often, in collecting herbs from the mountains and learnt the ayurveda secrets.

ERA 2 : Couple of decades ago baby Rahul was born in the Khaire household. There was cheer all around and also bit of nervousness.
"My office do not grant any maternity leave beyond the delivery week and I have to join back office soon. I'm so worried," Pratibha, Rahul's mother twiddled her thumbs in worry. "The tension is not letting proper lactation and I'm afraid Rahul will have to be artificially fed."
"You can leave the job," Shruti her neighbour, suggested.
"Are you nuts? We both don't earn enough to feed the whole family and you're talking about leaving the only job I have. No way. This job is too important for me, for us. I'll have to leave Rahul with my sister-in-law or the neighbor when I'm away."

Over days that followed, young Rahul grew up largely neglected. He was left with Pratibha's sister-in-law, whose days went running after her own three children, who were quite a noisy handful. Rahul wasn't her own son, so she didn't care much as well and often skipped his 'oil massages'. Sometimes carelessly, she used some duplicate chemically processed, cheap synthetic oil/powder which did nothing helpful for the baby. Rather it was harming him slowly. His food intake was irregular too. As a result from early on, he started falling sick frequently and was a very weak baby.

One day Pratibha arrived home to find her son having high fever. It continued for few days and inspite of him given modern medicines, he wasn't getting well. Getting worried now, one day Pratibha took him for a thorough check up. It was then revealed that the two year old had leukemia and needed urgent chemotherapy treatment. But within days of the treatment, baby Rahul died. His body was just too weak and couldn't tolerate the strong medicines. His death shattered Pratibha, who ultimately became a mad woman in her grief.

ERA 3 : Few years back baby Simpi was born in the Ahuja family. Though both husband and wife were busy working individuals, Simpi's grandmother lived along with them. She ensured that baby Simpi wasn't deprived of anything that a baby needs, from the initial stages i.e her mother's milk, regular oil massages etc. Granny was brought up the old traditional way, so she made sure that the young couple adhered to her advises too. She had herself taken pains in ensuring that her own children got all the essential oil massages and proper nutrition as well, when they were young. Thus, even in the slightest hint of neglect by the career minded young parents of Simpi, Granny made sure the baby was not made to suffer. She discovered 'Dadur Lal Tail' one day and immediately looked at the ingredients list on the back side. She was very impressed that even in modern times, there was a baby 'oil' that strictly followed the age-old Ayurveda route and had its ingredients carefully selected - that are essential for the baby and not harmful and all natural!

Dabur Lal Tail ensured 2 times faster increase in weight and height of the baby, while strengthening the baby's bones and muscles too ( which is clinically proven and tested ). It also improves sleeping pattern in children and is very safe. Reading all these satisfied Granny a lot, and she took it upon herself to look after the baby. Within the first week itself, she started giving oil massages to the baby religiously, which became a very important part of the day. Whenever the baby's mother had an off-day, she too lovingly followed the ritual that helped her bond with her baby beautifully. Initially Simpi got two massages daily, first one - 30 minutes before bath and in the evening before she went to sleep. Granny increased the massaging to thrice, by the time Simpi started crawling around.

Due to such dedicated care, Simpi grew beautiful and a well nourished baby. All thanks to her Granny, who made it a habit to give oil massages for many years ( through all seasons - in summers 2 times/ in winters 3 times ) - till Simpi almost reached school and even continued later on too. Thus even in modern age, Simpi had the benefits of age old 'Traditional Knowledge and Natural Growth', thanks to her loving Granny and of course Dabur Lal Tail.
