GHOST WRITER

Drawing Hands, 1948 by M. C. Escher

He had money, he had fame,
As a writer of repute,
He was a household name.

Awards adorned his shelves,
Invites to events lifted his prestige,
People sought his autographs,
All crazy for his writings.

Amidst all the attention,
He had a dark secret, untold to world.
A secret so deep, that could ruin it all,
His writings were but, not his,
A ghost writer had done it all.
